Третий из одиннадцати видов диких орхидей, растущих в Израиле:
Ятрышник трехзубчатый, Orchis tridentata (Neotinea tridentata, Toothed Orchid, Three-Pronged Orchid, Неотинея трёхзубчатая).
Называется так, потому что нижняя губа цветка расщеплена на три лепестка.
